Using the model number of the frig, I located the part (Interface Dispenser Asm) on the AppliancePartsPros.com. After reading the Q&A section for hints on how to change the part and looking at a couple of YouTube videos, it seemed that I was up to the task. I placed the order for the part and was pleasantly surprised that it arrived in a couple of days. Armed with a flat blade screwdriver and an old credit card, it took me about 15 minutes to first remove the bezel around the ice dispenser...

Frigidaire refrigerator only was not keeping temperature and would stop running thus get too warm Mary H. • Seattle , WA • August 07, 2015
I determined that this was the part to get based on a previous reviewer's post who had a similar problem. I bought the controller, it shipped quickly and I received it two business days later. I followed the instructions of the previous poster and had the device installed in about an hour. The most difficult part or should I say tedious part was unscrewing and then replacing the panel and screwing everything back in. The refrigerator keeps temperature now and turns on periodically as it should.
