Frigidaire refrigerator only was not keeping temperature and would stop running thus get too warm Mary H. • Seattle , WA • August 07, 2015
I determined that this was the part to get based on a previous reviewer's post who had a similar problem. I bought the controller, it shipped quickly and I received it two business days later. I followed the instructions of the previous poster and had the device installed in about an hour. The most difficult part or should I say tedious part was unscrewing and then replacing the panel and screwing everything back in. The refrigerator keeps temperature now and turns on periodically as it should.

Erratic/warm temps sometimes worked fine but not reliably Jennifer C. • Plainville , MA • June 15, 2015
My fridge was often reaching 60-70 degrees but would work well when motor/fans were running; it just wasn't cooling regularly. I checked the coils, defrost, damper, and fans, and they all seemed to work, so that only left the cold control in terms of what I was willing to try to fix. (It wasn't worth messing with the compressor as the fridge is 12 yrs old.) The fridge would sometimes kick on when I tapped the cold control knob so it was a reasonable - and, it turns out, correct - guess.
