First I needed to replaced the timer. However that timer is no longer available. So I was not able to buy that part. A friend encouraged me to cross reference the part number. I did and I found another timer that claimed it would work on my machine. It looked very similar. I got the timer from you guys and put it in. The water valves worked right away but the motor did not. I researched more troubleshooting ideas and discovered I had a bad lid check switch. I got a new one of those from you... Read more

After watching the video it was strait forward. Just Pull the screws pop the lid swap the springs "grease them" and put it back together. I would suggest that you have a person help you mostly has a second pair of hands. The lid was over rear springs and it will save you some expletives to have the extra body. I had worn out springs and the load kept becoming unbalanced during spin cycles I just happened to coincide with the Lock mechanism failing. The motor drive for the lock stopped working.... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Intermittent issues with the cold water fill   Urrvano G. • Rochester , MN • January 03, 2026

I replaced both the solenoid (part of the inlet valve kit) and the pressure sensor. Online research suggested my intermittent issue with the cold water fill being just a trickle and then causing an error was likely due to one or both of those two parts failing. Since they are in the same spot it was suggested (and I agree) that it is best to replace both at the same time. The hardest and most frustrating part was getting the bracket back on with the two bottom tabs being in place. It took... Read more
