This hose did not just attach to the back of the washer--that would have been too easy. This hose went into the back of the washer, under the tub & attached to the pump at the front of the washer. Both the back & front of the washer had to be removed to access the hose. I also noticed one of the two water recirculation outlets near the front door was no longer spraying water. When I took it all apart, I found that these two tub water recirculation outlets are both connected to the pump.. one was clogged. Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Remove the control panel (unplug cable), then remove the spring/wire that holds on the door bellows to the front panel (removing and installing that is the most difficult part of the job) and carefully remove the bellows from the front panel. I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. I replaced two or the four hoses and clamps on the far left side and for good measure the hot water inlet valve. I used youtube to look for diagnostic and then took my washer apart all of a sudden the front loader was no longer fun, I cleaned out the trap that was full checked all other lines and put back together.
