Wouldn't allow "super" fill setting James L. • San Jose , CA • April 02, 2021
GE Washer m/n GTW460ASJ6WW would allow other fill levels, but when set to "super" it would never stop filling. Checked water inlet valve (by initiating a fill and unplugging the unit) to see if the inlet valve was sticking open, that was not the issue. Decided to replace the board even though it is a significant fraction of the cost of a new washer. Local appliance stores didn't have the board but APP did, and of course, they are open 24/7 while my local part stores have decided the weekend is...

Broken tab on old magnet holder Joel E. • Granite Falls , NC • December 27, 2016
This was a super-easy repair. You have to line up the spring so that it sits on the bumps inside the magnet holder and the door, then you have to line up the tabs on the magnet holder so they will slide into the slots on the door. Then you just push it in. Repair took less than a minute.

LG front load washer door gasket needed replacement due to mold buildup Howard F. • Port Orange , FL • April 15, 2020
If you have an older model WM8000H_A you MUST pay attention to the type of door gasket (boot seal) that it uses. Every video I could find for replacing the seal on the WM8000HWA involved a different product than what was required for our specific washer. I wound up getting the wrong one by ordering it without help and had to exchange it - after I had the machine taken apart. Thanks to AppliancePartsPros I got the correct seal and front retaining ring the next day.
NOTE! The retaining rings are...

The control knob spun freely without engaging to select cycle Polly H. • Glen Allen , VA • November 11, 2014
I pulled off the retaining clip with pliers then removed the old knob and timer dial. I replaced all the parts with the new ones and used pliers to reinstall the clip. The teeth on the new knob engage to select the cycle.

Washer basket was loose banging/knocking when running eventually gave a 'load out of balance code" Dwayne D. • Hopewell Junction , NY • September 29, 2014
The repair was fairly straight foward as shown in the video. However, driving the shaft from the bearings took some doing. It required replacing the use of the board with a spare bolt and a 2lb hand sledge. (having an air hammer as reserve, also not a bad idea) I rated this reair as a "1" however I've been an auto mechanic for 40 years. If you do not have good general mechanical ablities you may find this more challenging as you get it further apart. I suggest anyone making this repair should...

Whirlpool wfw94hexw2 was giving error code f06 e01 (and e02 at times) Dean T. • Tigard , OR • December 11, 2014
The washer would try to start. The door would lock, but then would get stuck in the phase of start-up where the drum needs to roll around (I assume so it knows what's in there). It would sit and think about it for a couple minutes and then give the error codes. I shut it off (sometimes had to unplug it and plug it back in), and it would take about 10 minutes for the door to unlock. After reading about fixes, I decided to dive in and try it (the washer is only 3 years old and I'm pretty...

Genuine Ge part

Part Number: WH16X513
The Drain Hose Clip is an OEM part for GE washing machines. It secures the drain hose to the back of the washer, preventing it from becoming dislodged during operation. This ensures that water is properly directed out of the washer and into the household drain system, preventing leaks and water damage.
Causes of a bad drain hose clip can include wear and tear from regular use, damage from improper handling during installation or maintenance, or breakage due to repeated stress and movement of the washer.
Symptoms of a bad drain hose clip include:
- Water leaking from the back of the washer
- Drain hose detaching or becoming loose during operation
- Difficulty securing the drain hose in place
- Visible damage or cracking on the clip
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
Note: For the entire drain hose, use part number WH41X10096.

Squealing during spin cycle and very weak agitation Elijah S. • Stockton , CA • May 24, 2015
My parents have the older 80 series washer and dryer that gets used way more than a consumer washer and dryer was ever meant to be used. The washing machine finally said im tired. During the spin cycle it was making a really loud squealing noise and during the agitation cycle it would barely agitate the clothes. So i ordered the basket drive to get rid of the squealing during spin cycle and noticed the dogs on the cams were warn and werent grabbing so ordered the whole cam kit to be safe...

My washing machine smelt horrible Bryan W. • Ogdensburg , NY • August 20, 2018
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available....

Lg washer/dryer combo unit shook upper counter balance weight loose damaging the mount lugs on the tub cover and tore the tub gasket Christine V. • Saluda , VA • March 28, 2020
The upper counter-balance weight mount design is a poor design to begin with. It started to rattle loose approximately 5yrs into the 8yrs that we've owned it. As it would start to loosen up (as evidenced by the loud banging noise exhibited during operation); I'd shut it down, pull the top off, remove the weight (it was almost always half rattled off at this point), wrap the mount lugs with friction tape (the plastic lugs were being worn down/chaffed by the balance weight), put the weight back...

The timer switch came detached from the bracket and the dial slot slipped out of the shaft until i saw the repair video i did not know about the clip that locks the dial to the shaft Jeffery B. • Donalsonville , GA • September 04, 2015
I removed the dial knob and plate as instructed by the video, removed the front panel of the washer to access the switch. I found the plastic molded bracket that the timer rests on to be broken and the tab on the timer where it is attached by a screw to be broken. I ordered a replacement switch, dial and knob. When it arrived I replaced the parts as instructed, but I had to use super glue to hold the new switch in place due to the support tab on the washer panel being broken off. After letting...

I also purchased the Control Assembly which I did not install. It wasn't needed to repair the washer but I will keep it in case it is needed for future repairs. Washer stopped in the middle of a cycle tub was full of water and wet clothes Richard J. • Harwich , MA • July 09, 2015
Based on symptoms it looked like the timer was not working. I did a web search to confirm this and found your web site. Entering the model number of the washer (Whirlpool) I found the timer and related information. This confirmed my diagnosis. I also looked at the video on how to change the timer. This was invaluable! The video saved me hours and probably a washing machine. I ordered the timer, it arrived as promised, I installed it per directions and the machine works...
