After shopping for a new Whirlpool Thin Twin Stack, Found appliance parts pros online and decided to take it apart to see if repair was a possibility. APPro's online instructions were easy to follow, in a couple hours it was apart, and I placed the order. Reg ground took a week from NY, so the laundry piled up that week. The parts arrived on Monday morrning, by afternoon the machine was running like new! The cause was the belt tensioner pulley had frozen. Replaced it, drum wheels,snap... Read more

Somehow my Whirlpool dishwasher spray arm and supply tube broke. The plastic literally snapped. I tried to glue it back with Gorilla glue but it didn't hold due to the high heat... so in a few weeks I had the same problem again. I ordered both the Spray Arm and Supply Tube Kit and the Upper Spray Arm Mount Assembly. BTW I also ordered the Wash Arm Tube Holder not knowing that one came with the Spray Arm and Supply Tube Kit (NO BIG DEAL). The on-line videos with your website made the repair work... Read more

This dishwasher door spring bushing—also called a door spring bearing—sits at the spring's frame anchor to provide a pivot and reduce wear. Replacing a worn bushing restores door balance and helps prevent the door from dropping or slamming open.
I ordered the parts, deciding that if one spring had broken, the other one should probably be replaced at the same time. I followed the suggestion of ordering the door spring bearing given on the ordering page, and since I had not yet pulled out the dishwasher, did not know that it was not used in this older model. However, the order arrived quickly (4 days), and they are genuine Whirlpool, made in the USA, parts. The access to the sides of the dishwasher where the springs are attached... Read more

For Whirlpool made dishwashers. Assembly includes one spring, one retainer and one protective tip. Replace both springs at the same time to prevent uneven load.
I replaced both support springs. It took several tries to get the springs installed in the correct orientation, even though I had read--and thought I understood--the instructions. The retainer side pin must be fed through the slot with the adjustment notches, and then latch it in the proper notch. As my usual rule of thumb, I start in the middle notch, and adjust further if necessary. This time the middle notch was correct. I used a screwdriver handle as a wedge on the one side of the... I cleaned all the jet nozzles with a toothpick and a pipe cleaner to remove the hard water deposits. I then replace the ring bearing under the bottom spray wand and the ring bearing under the upper spray wand. I also replaced the smaller radial ring bearing. Although none of them looked overly worn, it doesn't take much to cause the spray wands to spray inadequately. Then, I replaced the float and washer assembly. Although it appeared to work properly when I lifted up on it and let it down, it... Read more

We had to take the clips off the side arms to remove the upper basket. Then we turned it upside down to easily access the supply tube. There was one screw that held the assembly in place.
