This genuine OEM part is a refrigerator upper dishrack. The upper dishrack is the tray on which dishes are placed on the top shelf of a dishwasher. If the dishrack is no longer sliding on its tracks, or is not staying in place during the wash cycle, it might need to be replaced. Luckily this is a very simple repair.To replace the upper dishrack, simply pull out the old dish rack and lift it up out of its tracks. Once removed from the dishwasher, take the new dishrack and gently slide it into place. Make sure it is placed correctly and that it is running smoothly on its tracks.This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand dishwashers.

Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. I cleaned all the jet nozzles with a toothpick and a pipe cleaner to remove the hard water deposits. I then replace the ring bearing under the bottom spray wand and the ring bearing under the upper spray wand. I also replaced the smaller radial ring bearing.
