I changed the control board (00498022) in the door of my Thermador dishwasher. Thermador, Bosch, and Siemens all use the same board for the indoor controls and display. This required a #15-star head driver to remove the screws. I used an impact wrench (set to a low torq setting) to speed things up. There are approximately 12 screws to remove. Two are long. Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. Removed water out of basin, down to the last inch.. Watched water rise slowly, and felt temperature, warm. This told me it was supply water. Ordered replacement part, two days just as mentioned, Removed as per video. Also choose to replace the waste line check valve, to affordable not too. Bought new wheel and the are easy to replace. Found why the brok and did a quick fix so it wont happen again. As the wheels age one will pull off then they all get weak and the rack will come off the track, To prevent this. you can put a plastic tie so the wheels cant fall off in the first place, The disign holds them in place with pressure from the plastic but the plastic ages and gets weak. A tie would have to actually break before the wheel can fall off. Read more

Ordered replacement drain hose, left hand panel of dishwasher removed (remove 2 screws in front left trim panel & friction fit clip at top back then slide up & off. This reveals the O-ring drain hose connection point. You need to remove the retainer block where the hose exits the appliance. Old hose pulls out and new hose pushes in. I checked continuity at the float switch since I knew the inlet valve was working when direct wired to 120v. Switch did not have continuity. Replaced switch and inlet valve worked at start of cycle. Read more
