Dryer won't start or stops after a few seconds? The belt switch detects broken belts and prevents operation. Moderate DIY repair, 1-2 hours.
I researched the issue on You tube and found out it could be either the "belt broke switch" or the Moisture sensor. A friend who was an appliance mechanic advised "since you have to take it all apart anyways, its best to replace the belt, spring, and Idler wheel" I bought the 5 item for $52. I watched the video on the AppliancePartsPros for changing out the belt and I replace all items on the list. Took 1 1/2 hrs and was fixed on restart!! * Wear gloves, the sheet metal is very sharp edges!* Read more

Self-tapping screw for dishwashers, dryers, refrigerators, and washers. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws for secure panel and component mounting.
The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more

I went on AppliancePartsPros.com website and was instructed to replace the thermal fuse or the heating element. I replaced both because the heating element looked real bad. I replaced the terminal block as well because I broke it when I was replacing the heating element. Dryer works perfectly now. Thanks AppliancePartsPros.com! Read more
Dryer won't start or door won't stay closed? A faulty door catch prevents the door switch from engaging. DIY-friendly fix with video guide.
I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year... Read more
Replace your dryer's drum seal gasket when worn or shredded to prevent heat loss and noise. Seals around the drum for efficient drying. Verify fit by model.
Replaced w/new seal, easy. More important was the service I received from you. I first called Samsung, their solution for a worn drum seal was to buy a new S.S. drum for near $300. Your solution was to buy a new seal for under $17, which was in stock and even delivered by Fedex on saturday. The lady I ordered the seal from was efficient and personable, like talking w/an old friend. It was an enjoyable experience, especially the price difference. Next time I need repair parts, you will be... Read more
