My refrigerator is 13 yrs old and began to build up frost in the ice cube shoot and the water tube began to freeze up over night. The flapper door was not closing completely. I simply removed the control panel by pulling up and out on the bottom edge, the edge is only about 1/8 inch thick, so don't reach in to far. All parts arrived in one box - I purchased the tub gasket, lower door gasket and lower door seal. My existing parts were visibly pretty worn out, dishwasher is 12 years old (maybe should have just bought anew one?). Tub gasket was pretty easy, it took me a while to make sure it was even all the way around, after attest run and the subsequent drying heat it fits nicely. Bought the replacement dispenser from APPros.com (of course). The video shows a front control panel, and our dishwasher has the 'hidden' control panel on the top of the door. So here's the difference: 1) You need to take out all the screws, except the two near the latch at the top. Removed and cleaned all inside components of dishwasher. Replaced the sump inlet and fine filter. I decided to complete the repair myself when my appliance repairman did not want to help me. Found parts at GE website. Shopped around and liked prices/reviews for appliancepartspro and made the purchase. 4 days late the parts arrived and I swapped them out. Minor assembly for removing water sprayer from old top rack and attaching to the new rack. Took 10 minutes tops and we were back up and running. Read more

The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more
