If your gas burner won't light or sparks weakly, corroded igniter screws may be the cause. These mounting screws secure the igniter to the burner assembly.
Replaced old igniter. also purchased new screws for burner and igniter assembly since old screws were corroded from spilled food/fluids etc over the years. made the installation much easier. If you need to replace a worn igniter, do yourself a favor and go to hardware store and get matching replacement screws or buy new with igniter. I purchased a new igniter for the bake assembly and found that it, unfortunately, did not resolve my problem. I measured the resistance of the different points on the gas valve and it was reading within spec so I then purchased this spark module and it did the trick. Ice dispenser not working or skipping? This coupling washer connects the auger motor to the ice bin. DIY-friendly repair with video guide included.
The problem was that the motor coupler & shaft had a tiny bit of rust at their union. With the weight of the ice bin it rusted in the lowest position. This didn't allow the motor coupler to float on the shaft. There is a spring inside the shaft that pushes up on the motor coupler keeping it engaged in the ice bin coupler above.
