I had replaced the Agitator cams a couple of times already due to my brother-in-law overloading the machine which stripped the teeth off of the cams. I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. None of the hoses were leaking - no evidence of corrosion or water mineral residue at any of the hose fittings. So, it must have been something else. My refrigerator is 13 yrs old and began to build up frost in the ice cube shoot and the water tube began to freeze up over night. The flapper door was not closing completely. I simply removed the control panel by pulling up and out on the bottom edge, the edge is only about 1/8 inch thick, so don't reach in to far. You should be able to feel a small division line between the control panel and the refrigerator. No screw driver was needed to expose the 4 mounting screws of the inner dispenser... Read more

Used the schematic provided to select the parts needing replacement and placed the order. Parts arrived and swapping new for old was simple. For the most part it was a matter of taking out the old and putting in the new. There were a few screws with wheels to replace but that was easy as well. Replaced washer drive block and Cam. I called around and finally settled on Appliance Parts Pros because they helped diagnose the problem, told me what parts to replace and had videos to show me how to do it. In completing the repair I had to remove quite a few pieces of hardware in order to get at the part I was to replace. First went through the troubleshooting guide on the website and read the various stories and watched the repair videos for replacing the springs and suspension pads. Then before ordering any parts disassembled the machine only to the point of removing the cabinet to see if there were any obvious issues. The springs appeared OK but I couldn't tell of they were fatigued or not and all were in place but the tub suspension pads were definitely worn out. I then put the machine back together and went... Using appliancepartspros.com site took washer apart to diagnose bad clutch. The clutch was bad but once inside I noticed grease everywhere and after a quick online chat with rep. determined gear case was leaking and needed replacement. Replaced clutch & gear case. Followed video tutorial and took a little more than 30 minutes start to finish for me - I have no experience.
