Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter. Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP. This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more
Converting dryer from propane to natural gas? This orifice regulates gas flow in the burner assembly. Easy DIY fix, typically done in under 1 hour.
Confirmed parts needed through online chat with tech and followed video instructions for dryer conversion. Found a video online for range conversion. Replaced orifices for stove top and adjusted oven burner orifices and air shutters and inverted pin in pressure regulator to natural gas position. Two screws remove the top. Unplug the wires to the old relay, give it a quarter turn and it's out. A five minute procedure. THIE REPAIR WAS ON A WHIRLPOOL TOP LOAD WASHING MACHINE At first I suspected the leak was from the pump because I had replaced the pump 2 times over 10 years. I removed the kick panel/door and confirmed there was no flame. Inspection with a flashlight revealed the igniter was damage - partly broken away. Using a 1/4" socket set I removed the burner assembly. Inspection showed the burner was rusted and the flame deflector had fallen off. I ordered both the "Dryer Igniter and Bracket" and a burner.
