Replaces a cracked, broken, or missing washer drum baffle. Mounts inside the drum to lift and tumble clothes during the wash cycle. Easy installation.
Had to bend down the retaining tabs (on the drum) a little to allow the paddle to slide on. Placed the paddle with the tabs in all of the grooved slots, pushing down with one hand, I used my palm to firmly push/tap it into its locked position. I purchased new vane screws (Part #: AP2106572 "131302800") and used a Phillips driver to screw them in (one each paddle). It's that simple! Read more
Fix E5F, E43, E90 errors, non-responsive controls, or cycles that won't start. Replacing this washer control board typically takes 30-45 minutes with basic tools.
After doing online research about this particular error code I found www.appliancepartspros.com. On the site I searched my washing machine's model number and I found the correct part (in my case, it was the main control board) at a discounted price. I figured that with their no hassle return policy it was a no brainer trying to replace the part myself. The process went fairly smooth. If you're replacing this part yourself, be sure to disconnect your machine from the power outlet first to avoid... Read more
Washer won't spin or makes loud noises? A faulty drive motor is often the cause. Moderate DIY repair with video guide. Fixes E58 error codes.
Tested the resistance of the motor windings. They showed around 2.5 ohms. This proved that the motor was bad. The new motor showed around 3.5 ohms. I installed it back in place and the washing machine worked fine. Read more
Carries wastewater from your washer's drain pump to the standpipe or sink. Replace if cracked, kinked, clogged, or leaking to restore proper drainage.
Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed. The video on the door boot seal, and inlet valve assembly were extremely helpful in understanding how these parts are removed and reassembled. Although the door boot seal is the most visible... Washer won't start, stops mid-cycle, or shows error codes? The control board manages all functions. Moderate DIY repair restores full operation.
Hi, it's me again. So I learned a valuable appliance repair lesson when trying to fix this washing machine: don't fix something until you figure out why it broke in the first place! The first speed control board died (fixed with my last story on year) and I assumed it was just a cheap part of something, but I was in fact proved wrong when, to my dismay, the new board died a week or so later. Being the self-appointed washing machine expert I became after the last repair, I got right into the... Read more
Fix E32 error codes or washer stopping during fill with this water level pressure switch. Senses water level and controls fill cycles. DIY-friendly repair.
The E32 diagnostic code that the Frigidaire washer was throwing after a quick water fill attempt was not in the supplied Data Sheet that came with the washer and Frigidaire would not provide and updated Data Sheet because, "it's a liabiliity issue" was their statement, but they did tell me that the problem was in the Fill Pressure Sensor/Wire Harness or the Main Control Board (the display board). I ordered the Pressure Sensor and Main Control Board from AppliancePartsPros after checking... Read more

Fix a washer that won't spin, shows error codes, or has unresponsive controls. This main control board coordinates all cycles and functions. DIY-friendly.
I ordered the control board because the old one had many (about 30) opens on the back of the control board and the plastic cover for it was warped. Helpful notes; put front cover on before you connect the wiring. This will save you hours of being mad! All the plugins have different ends, you can't screw it up! Third note, those little plastic light transmitters can be put in wrong and it will not go together. Tabs go in! The one set by the start button can be put in backwards and looks correct....
