After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. Took door off, saw that dispenser linkage was ok, I could open and close by hand, so figured the wax motor or the wiring to it were most likely the problem. I took off the wax motor ( actuator) and ran 120 volts to it via jumper wires, and it did not move at all, so figured good chance that was the problem. Gray plastic clip that secures folding tines to the dishwasher rack rail. Snaps onto the rack assembly to hold flip tines in place. Replace broken or missing clips.
