I googled the issue and read several articles. Most started with cleaning the coils (which mine are on the bottom) (19yr old Kenmore 363.9557812). I used a set of ring pliers to remove the old retaining ring, then spread the plastic ribs around the fan motor shaft with a small flat bladed screwdriver to ease removal of the old fan blade. I reversed the process to replace the blade, gently tapping a socket from my socket wrench set placed over the motor shaft and ribs with a small rubber mallet. Replaced original (18 yrs.) 1/4" plastic tubing, clamp and grommet (AppliancePartsPros/GE parts) from outlet of ice maker water control valve to ice maker inlet. I bought this relay switch and it works great. On the left side of the compressor there is a plastic cover you pry off with a screw driver. The relay switch had one wire plug on it. Just pull the wire off and the pull the relay switch off the compressor. Read more

I ordered a new solenoid and when it arrived, I installed it as follows: I cut the power to the refrigerator. I then pulled off the rubber boot (and it's plastic frame) that covers the water switch. Then I removed the bezel that covers the front of the ice maker controls by pulling it straight out. Then I removed the four screws found on the assembly under the bezel. I ordered a replacement auger from AppliancePartsPros.com. Upon receipt of the new auger, I watched the repair video and took the ice crusher apart. I found several other parts that needed to be replaced as well. Once All the parts were received, I again watched the video.
