My appliance is a Kenmore, and even though the video mentioned lots of other brands, it showed the exact same problem I was having. My dispenser motor just spun and spun, never stopping at the various positions it was apparently supposed to. Then it would trip the F30 code. Thawed out the ice-maker area and finally got the cracked bin removed. Took out the ice-maker assembly by pressing the side tabs and unplugging the connector. Found the ice tray was cracked, which caused the leaking and freezing issues. Called a local appliance parts store, but the ice-maker assembly and ice bin were over $500. Replaced the ice maker for the 2nd time in less than 4 years of owning the fridge. It's a super easy fix.......... remove one screw, unhook a wire harness and slide it out and then slide the new one in. Read more

When I ordered the control board the young lady told me that I had to take the front off the dishwasher. I did exactly as she said and started to put the new control board on. I could not unplug from the old one and finally my son came by and did that. I then put everything back together and turned it on. IT WORKED. Thank you. After looking for solutions online and watching some short videos, we decided to open the dishwasher up and try to fix it ourselves. We opened it up and found the circuit board had burned out causing a horrible odor. We ordered our new board, popped it in and we now have a working dishwasher. Hooray! Read more
