Stove is a GE Adora Model JBP63HH2bb. It took me forever to figure out how the burner was attached to the rails. My glass top was different than any instructions found on the internet for changing out a burner. The burners on this one are held to the bottom of the glass cook top by two rails that cross the bottom of the burner assemblies. The heating element had a break in the heater coils, so I replaced it with a new one from Appliance Parts Pros. I also replaced the thermal fusible link and thermostat switch because they were so cheap it just made sense to go ahead and do it while I was in there. I also cleaned every nook & cranny in the dryer, then cleaned out the vent piping- which was about 100% clogged. I ran a diagnostics check on the washing machine and came up with the error code E47 -Board thinks the door PTC circuit is open in spin. The washer thought the door was open and would not finish the spin. I was left with a washer full of very wet clothes. This repair was SO extremely easy. The first symptom was our microwave would continue to run after the time was up. I watched the video on replacing the switch on a side freezer where prying out to original switch did not look difficult. I then got on the floor and tried to pry out my switch. Had a terrible time (locking tab or switch body hardened with time?) and mangled the switch terribly and the upper panel of the freezer somewhat, but the switch did come out. Recommendations have fun and a bucket to prevent losing parts. First watch the videos, practice disassemble and reassemble the dryer drum. Make certain you have a good screw driver and spatula from kitchen (could not find my putty knife). After reading the reviews of others, I ordered and replaced the heating element, thermostat, cut-off & the moisture sensor bars. It was a success! The element was definitely bad on one end, the wire was burnt in two pieces. Now it doesn't take 3 hours to dry a load! Well worth the money I spent. Easy to fix & do it yourself. After my layman's diagnosis (hope) of a bad micro switch to the ice dispenser (would not activate and dispense ice through the chute) I purchased the both the ice and water dispenser micro switches (kill two birds with one stone). Albeit the video attached to these parts may be helpful to some it was not applicable to my refrigerator, as you could not access it from the front by removing the exterior dispenser plate. Conducted research on web, and via direct contact with AppliancePros where a diagnosis of replacing the water inlet valve and cleaning the sensor tube would "most probably" (80%) handle the issue. The remaining uncertainty would reside in the electronic board circuitry. After checking other reviews, we decided it was best to replace the interlocks, cam and all three switches. You're going to need a phillips screwdriver, star driver, small screwdriver and needle nose pliers. You need to remove the ONE Phillips screw above the control panel inside the vent. The contol panel is on hinges that you can slide up and towards you. Using caution remove the wires noting how they're connected. Pinch the top of the white connectors and wiggle them free.
