Washer won't drain or spin? A failed water pump is often the cause. This pump circulates and drains water during wash cycles. DIY repair in 1-2 hours.
There was a loud noise from my washer during the drain cycle. (The washer seemed to drain just fine.) It was pretty easy to determine that the noise was coming from the drain pump. (Which for my washer is behind the front lower inspection panel on the right side front.) I inspected the outside of the pump for any physical damage and verified no issues with the pump or the mounts. Everything seemed ok. I then checked the drain pump filter(You will need something to catch water if you do... Read more
Replace your washer door bellow seal if you notice water leaking from the front door or visible tears in the rubber. Confirms fit by model number.
I followed the very well made repair video for this particular part. The total time it took for the repair was under 20 minutes. But I have a suggestion for the repair video and that is to emphasize that when reinstalling boot. Have the tachnician point out that there are drain holes in the boot that need to be situated and reattached toward the bottom of the washer chassis. Unfortunately I had to redue and double the repair time because the wash water would not drain properly during wash... Read more
Fix a washer door that won't lock or stay closed during cycles. This door latch assembly secures the door and allows cycles to start. DIY repair.
Did lots of internet research. Narrowed problem down to three things - door lock latch, control unit, and motor control unit. Figured out how to run the diagnostic test program, which showed a F22 (door lock) error. Removed and ohm tested the door lock (pins 1 & 3). Found door lock latch to be defective. ordered new one and installed it. YouTube video helped a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SjU6k5bpSs So far, so good. Have only done a few loads. New door lock latch tested fine. Read more

Washer won't fill or leaks when off? The water inlet valve controls water flow during fill cycles. DIY repair in under 30 minutes with video guide.
The F20 code was low/no water pressure code. I watched a YouTube video and purchased a Water Inlet Valve from Appliance Pros. After my son installed the new part my washer still didn't work. I looked on Google for trouble shooting and the 1st thing it said was turn on both hot/cold water as the washer needs the pressure of the hot/cold water. I had turned off the hot valve because it was leaking. I assumed I could still do cold water loads. Read more

Secures the door seal to your washer tub to prevent leaks. Replace if washer leaks from the door or clamp is damaged or missing. Confirm fit with your model.
Followed your video instructions. It was invaluable. The toughest part was getting the seal on the back of the drum. Your technician made it look very easy. Once that was on, the rest was pretty easy. The control panel on my Whirlpool Duet washer had a holding screw at the bottom center of it. It wasn't shown in the video, but it was easy to figure out. If you are changing the boot, change the clamp as well. Read more

Secures water and drain hoses in washers to prevent leaks. Replace if connections loosen or clamp shows corrosion. Confirm fit with your model number.
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Fix F24 or F-20 error codes with a new water temperature sensor. Located on the outer tub, this is a moderate DIY repair. Video guide available.
Replace the water temperature sensor and still had the error code. While I had the back of the machine open I ran the washer. I traced the black wires from the temperature sensor and wiggled them as the washer was running. At one zip tie every time i moved the wires the washer would stop running and the error code would flash. Sure enough, like many others posted, the vibration from the machine had split the wire. I spiced the wire back together and have not had a problem since. Read more

Connects the outer tub to the drain pump in your washer. Replace if cracked, leaking, punctured, or worn. Includes check ball housing for proper drainage.
Took the old part off and fitted the new one. I used the old plastic ball from the old hose and it worked fine. Next time I would replace the original clamp with a 4 inch hose clamp. The original clamp is way tooooooooooo hard to put back on....with a different clip it would be a 10 minute job at most. Read more
