Washer won't spin or drain? Error code E47? The door lock assembly often causes these issues. This moderately easy repair typically takes 30 minutes.
I ran a diagnostics check on the washing machine and came up with the error code E47 -Board thinks the door PTC circuit is open in spin. The washer thought the door was open and would not finish the spin. I was left with a washer full of very wet clothes. This repair was SO extremely easy. I only needed to uses a pair of needle nose pliers and a screw driver. It took less than 10 minutes, start to finish. Now the new door lock assembly registers correctly and my clothes are completely... Read more
Flexible gasket sealing washer door to drum, preventing leaks during cycles. Replace when torn, leaking, or showing mold buildup. Confirm fit.
Fixed by replacing the washer door seal "Bellows". Once again AppliancePartsPros comes through with the right part at a great price. It took quite some time to install because putting the inside spring back on the bellow was difficult so I needed to remove the top and front door of the washer to get better access. A set of 3 or 4 plumbing clamps are highly recommended to get that spring back on (I went to the store and bought some). If you search YouTube about replacing the bellows on your... Read more

Secures the shock absorber to the outer tub in your washer. Replace if the pin is broken, cracked, or missing to restore proper shock mounting.
With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. A 1/2" deep socket pushed onto the retaining tab of the pin stays there while you pull with pliers from the... Read more
Secures the inner bellow seal to the tub in front-load washers. Replace if rusted, broken, or causing seal leakage. Tight installation requires patience.
Watched the video a few times for door boot seal replacement. It was a lot of help! The spring is the hardest to replace and I did enlist the help of my wife. Everything went back on great. If you have to replace the front panel (with the buttons) be mindful that the buttons are spring loaded and will come out. I did not lose any and it went back together just fine. A little touch up paint on the washer and it all looks brand new and works great. And the parts came in quicker than... Read more
Stabilizes the washer tub during spin cycles. Replace worn or broken rear shock absorbers to restore smooth operation and prevent drum contact with cabinet.
Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Remove the control panel (unplug cable), then remove the spring/wire that holds on the door bellows to the front panel (removing and installing that is the most difficult part of the job) and carefully remove the bellows from the front panel. Then remove... Read more
Drive belt transfers motor power to drum for tumbling and spinning. Replace when worn, stretched, or broken to restore smooth drum rotation. Verify fit.
Since I hadn't found the Tech Sheet for the washer (which there should be one inside the top cover) I simply thought I'd buy the drive motor (and a new belt, a.k.a "cheap insurance"). Installed the motor once I'd received it from AppliancePartsPros, the washer worked a couple of cycles then gave me the same "SrV CLL" message. I didn't know how to access the error codes on this model but found the info in the Tech Sheet, so I checked it and got an E53 code. Since I'd replaced the motor... Read more

Replaces missing, stripped, or rusted 8-18 thread screws that secure dryer panels, brackets, and components for tight, rattle-free assembly.
It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube. I then reversed disassembly. I want to tell you this is a 2 person job. In order to assemble it you need to... Read more
