Burner stuck on high or won't turn off? This burner control switch regulates heat settings. Moderate DIY repair—label wires before swapping.
If one control starts to fail the rest are sure to follow soon - so I replaced all four on our JennAir S160. Looked up the parts on line. Due to my background as an aviation electrician in the Navy and then working as an electrical systems designer for a defense contractor the toughest part was the clean up. Oh Well. Read more
Captures grease, smoke, and odors from your downdraft cooktop ventilation system. Replace when clogged with grease or emitting odors. Verify fit by model.
Based on internet search and data found on APPLIANCE PARTS PRO, I deduced that the "infinite control " module was most likely bad. Replaced it and all is good. Toughest part was remembering how to disengage cooktop from down draft blower and then pulling the cook top up in within it's opening. Once pulled up, I put short 2x4's across the opening corners to support the cooktop safely while I worked on it. Next issue was figuring out exactly which screws held the glass top in place. As... Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -... Read more
Fastening screw for securing components inside appliances. Replaces lost, stripped, or damaged screws during repairs or part installations.
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

Downdraft stopped working? This blower wheel mounts on the motor to move air through your cooktop ventilation system. DIY replacement in 1-2 hours.
I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
Intermittent power or heat damage at wire connections? This terminal block nut secures wire lugs to studs for a reliable electrical connection. Quick fix.
The oven temperature was low and the heating time excessive. However, the range display showed the requested 400F, even though the oven was really 250F. Because the oven displayed an inaccurate temperature, I ordered an oven sensor, a heating element, and a terminal block. Replacing the heating element fixed the problem. The element I received was the same shape and size, but the supports were not the same. However, I think it must have been a design change after mine was manufactured... Read more

Fix continuous sparking ignition caused by debris entering switches. This control knob grommet seals the panel opening around the valve shaft. 5-minute install.
I disconnected the downdraft exhaust pipe and unplugged the stove. I lifted up the stove and rested, supported it over the opening with a few pieces of scrap lumber. Opening the stove, I found all 4 switches dirty. After disconnecting one-at-a-time, I found the faulty switch. Shopping for a replacement, I noticed a parts diagram showing grommets around the knobs. My stove was missing all the grommets, allowing debris to gunk up the switches. Since switches are expensive, I cleaned mine in... Read more
