After watching the video it was strait forward. Just Pull the screws pop the lid swap the springs "grease them" and put it back together. I would suggest that you have a person help you mostly has a second pair of hands. The lid was over rear springs and it will save you some expletives to have the extra body. I had worn out springs and the load kept becoming unbalanced during spin cycles I just happened to coincide with the Lock mechanism failing. The motor drive for the lock stopped working.... At first I thought it was the bearing, but when I got it apart I found the main shaft had corroded from possibly the soap powder and bleach combo build up on the part. After I cleaned it all up I found one of the three mounting braces was cracked and causing the unit to shake during the spin cycle.
