Wire clamp spring that secures the door boot to the washer's front panel opening. Replace if broken, stretched, or missing to keep the seal properly seated.
Fixing was easy and took approximately 1 hour. I have a Bosch Axxis washing machine and all parts came exactly as ordered and within 2 days of order. I had to take off front and top panel and the door switch. The new wire and spring was part of the order and I had to pay for it. The old parts looked fine to me and I could have reused them but since I had the new ones, I replaced them anyhow. I wish I would have the option to buy the rubber gasket only. Read more

This is an easy home-owner repair! 1. Get down on the floor with a flashlight and a 5/16 nut driver, and remove the two screws holding the lower panel. Those screws are located beneath the lower panel, so you'll have your head on the floor to see 'em! 2. Lift the lower panel up and out. 3. Using the nut driver, remove the two kick-plate screws and lay the kick-plate aside. 4. Discard the broken spring. 5, Look at the remaining spring to determine where the spring should hook. 6. Replaces a broken, stretched, or fatigued dishwasher door spring that counterbalances the door weight. Restores controlled opening and closing.
Removed screws from sides pieces into the cabinets, then pulled out washer several inches. Found one of the springs had stretched and the door cable had broken at the hook. Replaced both items and pushed washer back in. It was a little tricky to get washer back into the same position. Found that the water connection was rigid copper pipe and now was leaking at the fitting into the washer. Turned off water, removed kick plate, removed nut at flare joint and retightened. Last steps were... Read more

Suspension damper shock absorber for front-load washers. Replaces cracked, weak, or broken shocks causing excessive vibration and off-balance loads.
I researched the problem and found that normal wear and tear will cause the Damper shocks and the Suspension spring to fail. I decided to replace all Damper Shocks and the suspension Springs since I had the washer apart already. The Suspension Spring requires a lot of pull to get it in place correctly. I made a hook tool (from political yard sign frame) to hook the old spring to remove and pull the new spring up. It helps to have a second person use leverage (use a short 2x2 board) under the... Reduces drum vibration during spin cycles. Replace if washer shakes excessively or drum moves too much. Mounts between drum and base. Sold individually.
Replaced all 4 shocks, and 2 suspension springs. The overall fix was easy for the shocks which only require a quarter turn with a cresent wrench to replace. The suspension springs are more difficult because the bottom of the washer drum must be supported due to the substantial weight. I used a car jack to support the drum from the bottom and a long bunge wrapped around the main drive pulley. I.would not have been able to do this as a one person without it. While replacing the suspension parts,... Read more
