How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4508273 / 131763302 Door Strike

Replaced the door switch/solenoid assembly. I also ordered the striker for the door, but didn't need it. I was sort of surprised the fix worked. I was able to disassemble the old unit, and didn't see anything obviously wrong with it. Additionally I could hear the solenoid pick, and the door locked. The status switch must have been faulty. Ordered the part on Monday night, had it Wednesday. Pleased with the prompt delivery. Very easy repair. Hardest part was putting the door gasket back in place, and once you figured out how it went, it was pretty easy. 

Replaced door catch and lock. 

Replaced the latch, but a piece of it had lodged in the receiving part of the latch.Had to take top off machine to get to the inside of the latch, but could not get front off to reach it, so reached arm in and got the Brown piece out. 

I order the part from Appliance Parts Pros and I received the part the NEXT DAY before I went out of town. I was so happy because my daughter had just dropped a whole gallon pitcher of grape koolaid. I had to use towels to get it up quickly, so I had sticky towels to wash. I am impressed and Thankful!!! Great Job Appliance Parts Pros:-) 

Ordered this part and changed it 

Researched via the internet for known problems. Went to your site with the model number with the symptom and found a great video showing how to remove the old part and install the new one. Went to your parts list and found what was needed and ordered the part. Installed the part when it arrived and now happily able to do wash? 

I took off the old striker and put on the new one. It took about 5 minutes.

HORRAY!!!!!! I am woman hear me roar. I did this without any problems. The hardest part was getting the seal put back on the front loader washer and the metal ring back around the seal! The video doesn't show this part in detail. BUT I was successful and so thankful for ApplicanPartsPros.com!!! You guys are THEBOMB.COM 

Fixing it was easy just needed a screw driver. I would like to say your Customer Service (Sheila)was great she took the time to help me order this part. She had so much patience for a person that didn’t know what I was ordering, but Sheila directed me in the right path. Thank you!!!
