Turn off power to machine, Take off door panel - 12 screws. hold up door panel a bit and make sure to remove the ribbon from the touch pad to the control module (use some pliers to rock it out of the board). • Timer will not advance

Just as the folks in the comments section said, I tested everything to make sure the timer had power which it did. I then tested with the OHM tester and saw that the switch was open when the timer was set to any drying cycle. So i changed the timer and voila! timer is functioning again. It was a very easy fix. Remove the 2 screws that hold on the front cover just above the washer, the control board is in front of you. Remove the 2 small screws that secure the board, they are star screws, very small ones, do not drop them, for they will fall into the washer tub. Take a picture of the wiring harness, press the 2 tabs on each side of the board, left and right side, the board will pop out. replace the wiring harness, wiring harness has tabs that hold them in place.
