This is an orifice holder component intended for use on ranges. The purpose of the part is to support the orifice that regulates the flow of gas to the burner. With normal use over time or because of unexpected damage, the orifice holder may break or become ineffective. If the orifice holder is no longer functioning correctly, a replacement part is required.A visual inspection will determine if the orifice holder component is missing or damaged. A gas odor may be noticeable if there is a problem with the orifice holder. Replacing the part is a simple process. Wear gloves for safety, and make sure to disconnect the appliance before starting the disassembly of the device. A nut driver, screwdrivers, and a wrench set are necessary to complete the repair. Locate the orifice holder on the cooktop portion of the range. This orifice holder is an authentic OEM replacement part. It is sold as an individual unit. The orifice holder is made of high-quality, durable materials. It is sourced directly from the manufacturer. The orifice holder can be used as a replacement part in several different models of ranges. This piece is compatible with appliances produced by General Electric, RCA, and Hotpoint brands.

All I can say is that it is a good thing that ApplianceParts Pros had what I needed a local supplier told me that as per GE the parts was unavailable. the only other thing I had to switch over was the gas regulator.which is done by flipping over the brass fitting on the regulator. I was confused because I didn't need the entire... Read more
