I removed the fresh food ice maker found the drain tube for ice maker frozen. This was causing the back of the unit to rust out. This also caused the water to run down the back of the unit the into the duct work and into the freezer causing ice buildup. Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. Noise was due to fan rubbing on housing. New fan position set to avoid any rubbing. Read more

I watched the video at your website. I unplugged the electric first. When I opened up the machine up, It was loaded with lint.I found the source was a hole in the vent tube outside the machine. I fixed that first . The lint had been sucked back into the machine. The first half hour was spent vacuuming out all the lint and then I could proceeded with the motor change. Removed 8 screws from bottom panel on microwave. Pulled two prong plug off old motor. Read supplied voltage off motor decal and tested for it. Deemed motor to be bad and changed it. Works great. After tearing old motor apart it seems a liquid got in there from inside microwave. No seal on motor. Bad design flaw in my opinion. Read more

Originally thought it was the evap fan motor, possibly the control board. Turns out it was the latter but only way to know for sure was to replace fan first. Shipping was fast and the parts were good. Read more

Replaced the motor with a direct replacement part. The wiring was not the same because the switch on the motor was different. The instructions that came with the motor were enough for me to figure out what to do. Read more

Determined that the evaporator fan in the freezer compartment was not running properly and making noise. Ordered a replacement evaporator fan and blade. Removed the freezer door, baskets, and side rails. Removed the back panel of the freezer compartment by unscrewing and disconnecting the power cable connected to the fan. Removed fan blade.
