Replaced clutch assembly which was a little tricky, but very doable. Just make sure to take your time. Very difficult fix even though I had done it once before about 15 years ago. Problem for me was getting the transmission down far enough to get clearance to install the belt. Removed the screws, lifted the old lid out of the hinges. Replaced the hinges, set new lid in the hinges and replaced screws. Read more

Fixing the problem was quite simple. First, I removed the lid assembly (thanks to the diagrams supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com!). Getting the back two screws out was very difficult because I couldn't see them from the front and I could not move the unit out of the enclosed space. Ordered a replacement. Had to tip washer toward the back to provide access underneath to the pump. Had some difficulty removing the two hose clamps. Pliers were not the best tool. Had to ensure the drive belt was properly engaged with the pulley of the pump. Read more
