I read the FAQ section of Appliance Pros parts web site. I found out I needed to replace the temperature control switch, WPW10248240, to correct my problem. This switch also controls the tub filling water level based on air pressure via the attached vinyl tubing. After shopping for a new Whirlpool Thin Twin Stack, Found appliance parts pros online and decided to take it apart to see if repair was a possibility. I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. I was very proud of myself, as a woman, that I fixed this problem myself and didnt have to pay a repair... Read more

Ordered a replacement valve and installed it. The part from AppliancePartsPro was an exact replacement for the original part. Replaced the hot and cold hoses at the same time to insure no leaks. Cold water settings now work properly again. Read more

Replaced clutch assembly which was a little tricky, but very doable. Just make sure to take your time. I do have to say that I am very impressed with AppliancePartsPro customer service when the replacement part also failed. A new clutch assembly was at my door step a few days later.
