Hello Nancy, You will want to double check to make sure that nothing is causing switch to be ingaged and causing icmaker motor to run. If this checks ok then you my either have a bad ribbon connector 241680002 or control board 241708202.

Hello Greg, Try heating the auger motor with a hair dryer. These are bad to have condensation which freezes and seizes the motor. If this doesn't solve the issue, you will have to replace the auger motor 242221501. Also, be aware that the auger is left handed threads. In order to get it off, you have to rap on the wrench pretty hard to break the threads loose.

Jerry, first check and make sure the water tank behind the crisper drawers is not frozen, and the filter wfcb is not clogged. Then press the water dispenser paddle. listen closely, for the actuator switch 241689106 to "click" , no click would indicate a faulty switch. If alls OK, you'd need to suspect the water inlet valve 242252702

Hello Dude. You will need to check the compressor and see if it is running on the unit. If there is power coming to the compressor, and the unit is not running, you will need to check and see if the relay/overload 297237702 is bad on the unit. If it rattles or is burnt, or has a burnt smell to it, you will need to replace the start device on the unit. You must also order and replace the wiring harness 297177300 on the unit to install the starting device. You can also test the compressor on the unit as well. Hello Lawrence. There is no lockout button on the model number you provided. It sounds like the power board 241708202 in the dispenser is bad and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Kofig, There are several things to check, Make sure the freezer temp is 0 to 5 dgrs.F. and that there is plenty of water pressure to the fill valve from the water supply. If you have a water filter in the fridge or and inline filter, check and replace that as well. The part you have listed will not have a lot to do with your issue. If anything you may need an icemaker assembly 5304458371. Good Luck and Thanks

Hi Brenda. I would consider first cleaning and drying all of the ice bin assembly, and bin rail assembly. If ice cubes have overfilled the bin and jammed any moving parts, then you will have issues. I would replace solenoid assembly part # 241675704 first. Making sure that your control rod works freely to engage and to disengage the crusher teeth as needed. Yes, whatever parts you have not used have a 365 return policy. Thank you.
