David October 08, 2022 for Model Number WTW8900BC0 Hello, I replaced the bearings and tub seal. problem is when I go to put the tub back in it sits too low or the new drive shaft is too high. this causes a gap between the drive hub and the tub. I have double and triple checked, I have measured and have un-installed and re installed all parts. Any idea on what I am missing? Any insight or direction is greatly appreciated.
1 Answer David, If the bearing and shaft are installed properly then everything should come together and seat properly. Watch the video under part number W10435302 to ensure that you have not missed a step in this repair. Read More...

Debra December 07, 2021 for Model Number debweinbergfl@gmail.com Hi; Will Part # W10435302 Tub Bearing Shaft Kit work on our 2012 Maytag Washer MVWB950YG? Do you recommend that we replace the Basket Drive Hub # W10820039 at same time. Is purchasing the Tub Tool W10447783 necessary to install the bearings?( A local repairman told me that the bearings could not be replaced as they are integrated into the tub itself on our model). I am attached to our Maytag & it still cleans very well but is very loud on spin cycle. Hoping this repair will fix the problem. Thank you for your help, Debra
1 Answer Debra, Yes, this bearing kit W10435302 will be the correct bearing part and you will want to have the tool to repair this. Read More...
Fred October 12, 2021 for Model Number MVWB850WQ2 spin cycle throws UL code even when empty. plan on replacing rotation position sensor. Sounds like there might be a little rumbling of bearings but can't really tell because machine won't spin. What would you do?
1 Answer Fred, it would be recommended that the spin basket is lifted up and let down. If the spin basket does not seat down fully and hangs up, the bearing assembly W10435302 would need to be replaced. Read More...
