  • Monitors system status and may store/output diagnostic error codes

What's included: 1 electronic control board Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing; verify no voltage is present
  • Use ESD protection and handle the PCB by edges only
  • Photograph/label connectors and move them one at a time to the new board to prevent miswiring
  • Inspect wiring, fuses, and related components for shorts or damage and correct any root cause before powering the new board; follow the unit's tech sheet for any required post-install setup

Hi. The bisk (cream) control panel is part # W10811159. It sounds like it is not accepting commands. Remove the lower kick plate. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Put the unit in a field service test and follow the instructions to diagnose with the meter which device is bad. Thank You.

Hi Chris. Remove the lower kick panel or the inner door. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. At the start of the dry mode the control panel Has to send 120 vac to the heater below.Check at the control board heater output terminals and verify that the control board has this output. Make sure the control board has not burned open on the heater relay solder connections. If so then replace the control board part # W11202746. Rob for Model Number Maytag MDB7809AWQ2 dishwasher

About two weeks ago my "Delay-Hours" option button stopped working; everything else worked fine. However, today the DW will not start. All "Option" buttons will light up when pushed (except the delay-hours button), then go out after about 30-45 seconds, but none of the "Cycles" buttons light up, nor does the "Start" or "Cancel" button light up. Is my problem with the control panel or electric control board? Thank you in advance for answering my question.
