This switch fixed a very frustrating problem, 75% of the time the washer refused to run because it "thought" the door was open. Replacing the switch was a very easy, in expensive, 5-min fix. The washer runs like new.
When taking off the gasket, there is a metal ring that holds the gasket in place. It is connected by a spring. Find the spring, put a flat head screwdriver between the spring and the gasket and pull the ring off. The gasket will then peel back, giving you access to the switch and...

Washer would stop after about 30 second on fill cycle diagnostic code of e32 Kenneth B. • Friendswood , TX • June 04, 2016
The E32 diagnostic code that the Frigidaire washer was throwing after a quick water fill attempt was not in the supplied Data Sheet that came with the washer and Frigidaire would not provide and updated Data Sheet because, "it's a liabiliity issue" was their statement, but they did tell me that the problem was in the Fill Pressure Sensor/Wire Harness or the Main Control Board (the display board). I ordered the Pressure Sensor and Main Control Board from AppliancePartsPros after checking...

Wash machine once in a while would stop running Daniel B. • Leesburg , FL • May 13, 2016
I found that turning the water level switch back and forth would activate the machine So I replaced the water level switch and the plastic hose that connected to it.
I purchased a clamp in the purchase, but it was the wrong size! There wasn't a clamp used in the original set up, so I installed the switch and hose without it! It was the video instructions and having the correct parts that made that made this a easy repair!
Thank You

Water level shutoff switch did didn't work allowing the washer tub to overfill William H. • Papillion , NE • March 22, 2015
I replaced the water level switch and hose. After removing the hose, I found that it was clogged, and did not allow the water level to be sensed by the switch. A test after the replacement of the parts was successful. While filling the tub, the water shut off at the small, medium, and large levels as indicated by the switch.
