Replaces worn or leaking shock absorbers that cause excessive vibration and wobbling during spin cycles. Restores stability and smooth operation.
My washing machine was making a loud thumping sound and bouncing around a bit. Research suggested that it could be bearings and/or the spider shaft assembly. After watching the instruction videos to replace the spider or bearings, I seen you need to replace both the shaft seal and tub gasket to get to the spider and bearings. So I ordered both and waited for them to arrive. Plan was to disassemble the washer, determine what was needed, order the additional parts needed, and reassemble after the... Read more
Fixes loud banging during spin cycle and excessive vibration. Secures the drum spider assembly. Time-consuming repair (6 hours) but saves replacement costs.
I followed Matt's awesome video from AppliancePartsPros.com to build up my "I can do this" reserves. But here's the story leading up to that point... We purchased our Samsung WF419 on a “Black Friday” special November 2009 expecting to get some good years out of the washer/dryer pair. We don’t run more than 2 or 3 loads a week in the washer, so ours has had relatively little use over the beginning of its anticipated and expected long life-cycle. When the “thumping” started on the spin cycle a... Read more

Secures the door boot gasket on your washer. Replace if seal pops off, leaks occur, or spring wire breaks. Confirm fit with your model number.
Normally, I hire someone to come fix washer or dryer problems as time is limited and if the cost is close or more than the machine, I buy a new one instead. But since we are on shelter-in-place, I figure I could repair it since I have more time on my hands and my brother assured me, it was not hard to do. I took the top panel, door off and then looked online to find a service manual, which allowed me to take the front panel off. My suspected drain hose was the failure mode: the rubber tube... Prevents water leaks between washer tub and drum. Replace if you notice leaking, grinding noise, or water damage. Confirm fit with your model number.
Noticed large banging in the washing machine when transitioning from low to high speed spin. Also would get a slight smell of burnt rubber. Did an online search and best guess was the spider arm assy was broken. Ordered the spider arm assy, the rear tub seal and the tub seal. Make sure you get blue threadlocker - you'll use it multiple times during the reassembly. The washer is 9 years old and is heavily used. Used the online video on the appliancepartspros.com site to handle the repair. The... Read more
Washer not filling with water or showing 4E error? The water inlet valve controls flow into your machine. DIY repair in 15-40 minutes with video guide.
I found a youtube video about replacing the hot water valve in a Samsung washer. It looked pretty easy. I had been very satisfied with an earlier order from AppliancePartsPros.com, so I ordered this part on Sunday after 9PM, standard delivery, hoping to get the part by the end of the week. I was flabbergasted to receive the part TUESDAY MORNING! Wow! I followed the instructions in the youtube video exactly. It took around 15 minutes, because I was being very careful not to drop screws in... Read more

Replacement mounting bolt for washer counterweights. Secures balance weights to drum assembly. Order when bolt is broken, stripped, or missing.
I took apart the washer to find both of the weight balancers had broken in 2 and were banging around. They had also caused the boot seal to rip. I removed the broken weight balancers and replaced them along with a new boot seal. There was one small spot with the seal wasn't fully attached to the outer drum so I had to take it back apart to fix that minor error on my part. Otherwise, it was a fairly easy fix. Read more

Fix excessive vibration and loud spinning noise in your washer. Balance ring assembly stabilizes the drum during spin cycles. Advanced DIY repair.
With all the bouncing around the shocks appeared to be done in but that was not the issue. The key was the balance ring. It had leaked all the fluid out causing all the beads to clump. This caused the drum to wobble wildly and not spin at speed. Getting to the ring to replace it is not a trivial task and took me several hours. Would have been much easier with help as the drum is quite heavy. The on-line video's are very handy and should be watched before attempting this job to save you a... Read more
Fix loud noises, leaks, or wobbling during spin. This washer spider arm assembly replaces cracked or corroded parts. Moderate DIY difficulty, 2-3 hours.
Google is your friend. Appliancepartspros is your friend too!! I used the diagnostics to see why my 6 year old Samsung front loader makes a strange noise followed by a bad smell after it attempts the spin cycle. I used the manual that's taped to the back of the unit to put it in service mode, this helped me discover 2 things; My stay-at-home wife is not lying, she does a ton of laundry (over 4000 washes since we got the washer) AND it gets almost up to 700 rpms in the spin cycle and then... Secures the washer drum during transport or moving. Prevents damage by immobilizing the tub. Replace missing or lost bolts before relocating your washer.
We are moving soon. In checking, I found that a front loading washing machine tub must be stabilized using shipping bolts. I found the correct items on line at AppliancePartsPros.com. "Chris" of your staff was very helpful. He informed me that my washer required only 3 shipping bolt assemblies, instead of the four I expected to buy. The bolts were delivered two days after my order. Read more
Fix tE error codes with a new water temperature thermistor. This sensor monitors wash water temp. DIY-friendly repair takes under 10 minutes.
I first check the schematics to find the heat sensor. On my model it's c on the control panel. I checked the continuity on the orange and white wires. It showed some continuity but not much. Fix water leaks behind the detergent drawer with this washer upper nozzle connector. Located under the top panel. Easy 5-minute DIY repair with basic tools.
When I opened the rear cover and check the temperature sensor, I noticed the wire connection was damp. I dried it up with a hair dryer and it worked again for a few days. Then the problem came back. When I gone back to inspect the second time, i noticed a lot of water on the floor. I knew there was a leak. I followed the disassemble samsung washer video from "Repair clinic.com" to open the top cover, then i realized the assembly hose was busted. I ordered the parts from this site and... Read more
