My discharge would not empty after a wash cycle and I always had gross gray water left in the bottom approx 3" deep? Soap dispenser won't open or latch broke? This detergent dispenser assembly fixes release issues. Moderately easy DIY repair with inner door access.
First unplug or turn off the electrical breaker to the dishwasher. Then I removed the phillips head screws holding the inner door to the outer door panel. I then removed the hex head screws holding the dispenser assembly. The electrical connection needs to be disconnected and then reverse the procedure to install the new dispenser.
