First off OUTSTANDING experience with AppliancePartsPros.com! Ordered my parts on Tuesday and they arrived Wed morning!! Replaced interlock switch plunger and spring, which was obviously broken compared to the new one. This solved the problem of my door not latching but the machine would still not turn on. So with two interlock switches on the door, one had to be bad. So decided to start by replacing one switch at a time until I found the bad one. If both were bad I would just buy a... Read more

This rinse aid tank is the reservoir inside the dishwasher dispenser that holds liquid rinse agent and releases it during the final rinse. Replacing a damaged tank helps restore proper dispensing, reduce spotting, and prevent leaks at the dispenser.
Repair parts arrived super fast. Installed the new parts according to the supplied instructions. All went well. It took over 2 hours because the unit had to be removed after the water and power were disconnected and then the initial problem diagnosed (motor brushes worn beyond service limits). The removal of the spray bar tower assembly was a challenge until it was discovered that the tower unscrews in a CW direction from the bar that then allowed access to the attachment screw that holds that... This replacement part is an upper rack slide, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. This upper rack slide is an important part of many appliances. This particular one is typically found in dishwashers and helps guide the upper rack in and out. This allows the user to have easy access to the rack in order to place and remove dishes before and after the cleaning process. A new upper slide rack might be needed if the current ones are broken or damaged in any way. It is possible that these slides become stripped over many years of use and need to be replaced. If the upper rack is tilted or not sturdy while being slid back inside the main tub, the upper rack slide might be the problem. Be sure the dishwasher is completely empty prior to replacing this part. This is a genuine OEM part and is sourced directly from the manufacturer. This upper arm rack slide is sold individually.
Dishwasher needed new wheel that mounted to upper rack. There are 4 total that make the rack roll in and out. Replaced both side rails and rail caps (4- only 50 cents each) along with new upper rack that came with wheels installed. One side rail was bent so decided to spend a little extra and replace both. Might of been able to replace just one broken rack wheel but rack was old and was rusting in some areas so decided to just replace it. Read more
This middle spray arm hub mounts the mid-level spray arm to its supply tube so it can spin freely and distribute wash water to the upper rack. Replacing a worn hub restores cleaning and keeps the arm secure.
The middle sprayer sheared off our GE Power 3 dishwasher, ruining the hub in the process. We removed the rack from the dishwasher to make it easier to access the sprayer hub, otherwise it's awkward. The biggest challenge was finding the right tool in our garage (we used a 1/4" wrench as we did not have the right socket size). Once the screw was removed, it was quite easy to remove the hub and attach the new one. The rest was simply attaching the new sprayer to the hub using the included... Read more

This hose clamp kit secures the washer's hoses at the pump, tub, or valve connections, helping stop leaks and hose blow-offs. Replace worn or missing clamps to restore a tight, reliable seal during fill, wash, and drain.
The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Putting the new parts on was an easy 5 minute job. Read more

This 3rd level spray arm assembly restores targeted wash action from the top of the tub, improving coverage to the upper rack. Replace it if jets are clogged, the arm is damaged, or upper-rack cleaning performance has declined.
There is a plastic "snapping" feature (Two plastic tabs that when pressed together can fit into the holes on the spray arm. Once in there, the tabs expands and keep the spray arm in place) that comes out of the top onto which the spray arm is attached to. That plastic piece broke and the spray arm fell off. It wasn't clear how the snapping feature was attached to the top of the dishwasher at first. I was looking for a replacement for it and could not find it on any of the assembly diagram... Read more
