I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. This genuine OEM part is a refrigerator upper dishrack. The upper dishrack is the tray on which dishes are placed on the top shelf of a dishwasher. If the dishrack is no longer sliding on its tracks, or is not staying in place during the wash cycle, it might need to be replaced. Luckily this is a very simple repair.To replace the upper dishrack, simply pull out the old dish rack and lift it up out of its tracks. Once removed from the dishwasher, take the new dishrack and gently slide it into place. Make sure it is placed correctly and that it is running smoothly on its tracks.This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand dishwashers.

Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

This is the dishwasher manifold tube only. It attaches to the bottom of the upper rack. For the complete kit order 675808. Also consider checking the mount that attaches this manifold tube to the dishrack. For the mount order WP8539324.
Part was updated from original equipment (3 pieces) to a one piece tube. Snip the top of hanger loop then install. Just a couple minute job. Updated tube is much better than the original design. Read more
