Washer won't fill or leaks when off? The water inlet valve controls water flow during fill cycles. DIY repair in under 30 minutes with video guide.
The F20 code was low/no water pressure code. I watched a YouTube video and purchased a Water Inlet Valve from Appliance Pros. After my son installed the new part my washer still didn't work. I looked on Google for trouble shooting and the 1st thing it said was turn on both hot/cold water as the washer needs the pressure of the hot/cold water. I had turned off the hot valve because it was leaking. I assumed I could still do cold water loads. Read more
Seals the rear drum opening to prevent air leaks and reduce noise. Replace if worn, frayed, or causing rattling sounds. Confirm fit with your model number.
After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Apparently my older Whirlpool dryer has a somewhat ambiguous model number because the rollers that were shipped each time looked nothing like the originals. I realize that is not particularily uncommon - manufacturers often modify... Read more

Squealing or grinding noise from your washer? This thrust washer reduces friction between rotating parts. DIY-friendly repair with basic tools.
Upon removal of the lower inspection panel on the front of the machine, my 20 year old son thought the motor was bad by the smell. But he did discover what turned out to be the belt tensioner pulley laying inside the machine. After he pronounced it dead, without a thought to the idler pulley, I looked at the machine and determined the lack of movement was due to the idler pulley having "fallen" off the shaft by looking at the illustrated parts break down provided on this website. Ordered the... Read more

Secures the door seal to your washer tub to prevent leaks. Replace if washer leaks from the door or clamp is damaged or missing. Confirm fit with your model.
Followed your video instructions. It was invaluable. The toughest part was getting the seal on the back of the drum. Your technician made it look very easy. Once that was on, the rest was pretty easy. The control panel on my Whirlpool Duet washer had a holding screw at the bottom center of it. It wasn't shown in the video, but it was easy to figure out. First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck.
