My wife put the faceplate on the oven control while I accessed the display by pulling the oven out, unplugged it, and removed the rear cover. Only three nut head screws held the upper back panel. 4 nut screws hold the display onto the oven, they were easily removed. My wife took a couple photos of the rear wiring to ensure we plugged the new oven control in properly (there are a fair number of wires but they are color coded in most cases). Easy fix. Pulled out the range and disconnected power cord. Unscrewed two screws in front of unit. Tilted smoothtop open toward rear of stove. Propped a piece of wood to keep it open. Removed burned out Indicator bulb and its plastic housing. Disconnected two wires attached. Installed new bulb and its housing attaching the two wires...housing clicked into hole where old one was removed. Closed top and re-attached two screws... Now works fine. Read more

Ordered a new Faceplate Graphics, removed old faceplate and installed new. Required removing control panel with switches and display, including 10 screws to get to the faceplate. Faceplate has glue on rim, so had to peel off old faceplate, remove residue, then put on new. Not difficult, but reaching to remove the screws was a little challenging in a small kitchen. Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. Replaced the switch took a total of about five minutes. I pulled the stove out and turned the breaker off so I only had to pull it out enough to get a 1/4 " nut driver in behind it. Removed three screws and the back cover came off. I pushed the switch threw from the back and switched over the two wires then reversed the process. Worst part of job was sliding stove out from wall. Remove 4 small screws from shield on top of stove, disconnect two connectors from switch rocker, push lock tabs inward so you can push switch rocker outward from back toward burners threw frame of stove, insert new unit until click locks, reconnect wires, and reinsert shield back on top stove and secure with 4 screws removed earlier. I replaced the latch and handle assembly. It's easy when you see how it goes together. Unscrew the two screws under the front edge of the stovetop, have a helper lift the stovetop up, unscrew the six screws holding the metal plate down and remove the plate, unplug the wires connected to the latch switch, and unscrew the two front screws holding the latch assembly in place. Move stove to unplug, remove rear center panel, indentify the two spade connectors that feed the heating element and remove (unplug) them. Remove two screws that hold the element to the inside rear wall of the stove and remove element. Install new element, plug in the previously removed spade connectors, re-install rear center panel, plug range (power) in, move stove back into place and enjoy. Read more
