Fix warm fridge temps and ice buildup with this evaporator fan motor. Common when fan makes grinding noise or stops running. DIY repair in 2-3 hours.
I took all the items out of the refrigerator. Removed the screws that hold the cover over the evaporator motor. Than for three hours used a hair drier to remove ice. The panel was frozen on if you pull on it it will break. Soaked up all the water removed the panel and took the fan blade off. That was difficult because it looks like a regular screw head however, you need to push in that which will cause it to release the blades and than push it onto the new motor. Than replace the panel put the... Read more
Connects your refrigerator to the wall outlet. Replace if the cord is severed, the plug prongs are broken, or the ground terminal is damaged or missing.
I started by replacing the water filter assembly since it was leaking after I attempted to install a non-name-brand filter. The new assembly didn't fix the problem (but was hard to find, and AppliancePartsPros was amazing in being able to get one). Further, while replacing that I noticed that the previous owner had literally cut out the grounding pin from the power cord. I decided to replace the power cord and the Ice Maker Assembly. None of the online stores seemed to have either part listed... Read more
Plastic grommet that cushions the hinge pin on refrigerator doors. Replace if cracked, worn, missing, or causing door alignment issues.
I removed the door and the hinge assembly from the right side; it turns out the grommet had never been installed and this is what was causing the door to grind down the metal hinge. It was remarkably easy to replace and my door is working perfectly! Read more
Replacement axle pin that secures roller wheels to the refrigerator base. Needed when original pin is damaged, corroded, or broken during wheel replacement.
Samsung does not make it easy to replace the casters. The shafts holding the casters are crimped at the ends and had to be cut off with little room for any tools. I had to jack up the fridge and I used a hacksaw blade with a handle to cut through the wheel shafts. I didn't want to use a reciprocating saw. I couldn't find a way to crimp the new shafts so I drilled small holes at the ends and used cotter pins to retain the shafts in place. The rear caster had no room to slide the new one in... Read more

Front caster wheel for refrigerators. Installs at the base to allow smooth rolling and repositioning. Replace if wheel is cracked, broken, or won't roll.
Used the video with the parts and replaced the wheels. The only thing we did wrong was using the front wheel axle instead of the back wheel axle on the back wheels. I will just order two more front wheel axles which are longer than the back axle. Thank you for the video, it made this repair easier. Read more

Spring component that provides tension for the freezer door handle mechanism. Replace if spring is broken, missing, or no longer holding proper tension.
I looked at the blow up drawing to figure out what parts I might need. I then watched a you tube video to see how to take the handle off. I kind of figured out on my own how to remove the ruined cap handle. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and more time to remove both the handle and the broken part. Turns out I did not need the spring nor the shaft cap handle. Very proud of myself. Saved a huge amount of money. Only problem was that I could only put in one screw as the previous... Read more

Maintains an airtight seal to keep cold air inside your refrigerator. Replace if you notice frost buildup, warm spots, or condensation. Confirm fit with your model number before ordering.
Found AppliancePartsPros.com by googling my model # (RF26XAEBP/XAA) and problem. Was hesitant, but ordered the gasket and not only did it arrive in a couple days, it was the right part, and super easy to install. I used the manual to figure out how to get the freezer drawer and basket out and then realized there were four bolts holding the door on that needed to come out. It was super easy to do with someone helping to hold things level for install and removal. Pull the old seal out, and... Read more
Self-tapping screw for dishwashers, dryers, refrigerators, and washers. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws for secure panel and component mounting.
The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more
