Fix water pooling under crisper drawers. This evaporator shield with drain pan stops leaks caused by corrosion. Moderate DIY repair with video guide.
Repair required removing all of the interior drawers & shelves and the interior back panel. There you will find the defrost heater. Behind the defrost heater is a metal plate as well as one on the back of the front interior cover. Both were corroded and in need of replacement. I ordered Samsung part #’s AP5577767, plate drain & AP5587916, evaporator plate and replaced both. Read more
Replacement rail assembly for refrigerator vegetable drawers. Installs on the side wall to support drawer gliding. Needed when original is cracked or broken.
Removed the bottom shelf by releasing the 2 clips near the water filter, then lifted the front of the shelf and slid it out. Removed 2 screws from the broken Vegetable Rail and replaced it with the new one. Slid the shelf back into place and locked it down into the clips. Done. Took longer to remove everything from the shelf than it did to fix it. Less than 5 minute repair. Read more

Self-tapping screw for dishwashers, dryers, refrigerators, and washers. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws for secure panel and component mounting.
The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more
Center cap covers the middle hinge on French door refrigerator mullions. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing caps for a clean finished look.
In order it SHOULD be done: Pried off two white caps covering the screws that attach the flap to the left door, then removed screws. Lifted flap up to remove from door and disconnected cable. Used a thin blade to pry out the inner cover of the flap, then carefully pried out the insulation piece inside. Loosened the screw holding the center cap from the inside and removed cap. Worked the cable out of the hinge piece so it could be removed and cable pulled through case. Pried upper and lower caps... Read more
Replacement vegetable drawer rail assembly for bottom-mount refrigerators. Installs in the crisper compartment to support produce drawers. Needed when broken or snapped.
I removed the broken rail saving the 2 Phillips head screws for installation of new drawer rail. Removal of the shelf above the drawers was required and was accomplished by pushing a button on the front of the shelf support. The installation was a snap and took about 10 minutes after removal of food items. The part was the correct one as verified by the model number on the inside of the refrigerator door. Replaces the shaft inside your refrigerator's freezer door handle. Needed when the internal plastic sleeve snaps, cracks, or breaks, causing the handle to detach.
I looked at the blow up drawing to figure out what parts I might need. I then watched a you tube video to see how to take the handle off. I kind of figured out on my own how to remove the ruined cap handle. It took me a few minutes to figure it out and more time to remove both the handle and the broken part. Turns out I did not need the spring nor the shaft cap handle. Very proud of myself. Saved a huge amount of money. Only problem was that I could only put in one screw as the previous... Read more

Replace your cracked or drooping refrigerator folding shelf insert. This assembly installs in the fresh food section, restoring shelf support and storage.
The circulating fan stopped. Fairly easy to fix, but only after watching Appliancepartspros video. Had to let frig. set for a day to thaw out. Time to fix obviously does not include thaw time or waiting for parts to arrive from Appliancepartspros. Fortunately, I had a backup frig. in the garage. Read more
Replace your cracked or broken refrigerator door shelf guard assembly. This bin slides onto the door to hold condiments and small items securely in place.
I ordered 3 replacement shelves for my fridge. Promptly received the shipment, but one of the items was damaged (the lid for the butter try shelf). I went online and started a chat with the rep from APP, and they were great. Gave them my information and told them the issue. Replacement part sent out on Monday! Great service. Read more
Ice dispenser flapper broken or spring snapped? This ice chute assembly fixes ice melting and dripping issues. Easy 30-minute DIY repair with video guide.
Unfortunately a spring could not be found to just repair so a new assembly had to be purchased. I easily removed one screw from the front instrument panel then popped it off using a 4 inch putty knife. I then disconnected the wires after marking them and unscrewed the old assembly and removed. The rest was just installation of the new assembly by reversing the procedure above. Took less than 30 minutes. Read more

I replaced the temperature sensor, the thermo fuse, and the heating element that thaws the evaporator on a cycle to keep the evaporator from freezing up. The most time consuming part of the repair was waiting for the fridge to thaw out so that I could remove the cover. I disconnected the fridge the night before and placed a fan on low with the doors open so that it was thawed out when I awoke. It was easy to remove the evaporator cover once I removed all of the shelves. I took pics as i was... Read more
Replaces broken or missing spring on French door refrigerator left door flapper assembly. Ensures flapper retracts properly when door closes for tight seal.
Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge.
