First remove the back from the washing machine. Top of the machine came off simple. To replace springs, I took a crow bar but it on the right side underneath where one of the springs should be. Took the back cover off, noticed the bolt holding the rotor on was broke off in the shaft which wore the stator and rotor. So I drilled out the broken bolt and extracted it with an easy out and replaced the stator the rotor and the bolt. Works great !
