Fix F30 error codes and non-dispensing detergent drawers. This dispenser motor assembly controls detergent release timing. 30-minute DIY repair with video.
My appliance is a Kenmore, and even though the video mentioned lots of other brands, it showed the exact same problem I was having. My dispenser motor just spun and spun, never stopping at the various positions it was apparently supposed to. Then it would trip the F30 code. The part description again mentioned these other brands but did say in fine print it fits some Kenmore products. I could tell visually from the video the part was the same as on my washer so I felt confident the part... Read more
Connects washer tub to drain pipe. Replace if cracked, leaking, or punctured from wear and rubbing. Installs from tub to pump at washer front.
This hose did not just attach to the back of the washer--that would have been too easy. This hose went into the back of the washer, under the tub & attached to the pump at the front of the washer. Both the back & front of the washer had to be removed to access the hose. Luckily the crack was at an external spot where it was easily seen; unluckily my husband was out of town at the time & I had to take the washer apart & put it back together. Actually it was not that hard. Before I took the... Read more

Suspension spring kit for washers. Supports tub weight and absorbs vibrations. Replace if springs are broken, stretched, worn, or missing. Includes 2 springs.
First remove the back from the washing machine. Top of the machine came off simple. To replace springs, I took a crow bar but it on the right side underneath where one of the springs should be. Lift the tumbler up remove and replace the spring. Did the same thing to the other side. On the tumbling unit there are spaces for three shock absorbers. Mine only had one shock in the middle. I put two new springs, one in the front and one in the rear. Then I replaced the right side spring with two new... Read more

I was moving my washer and dryer on to a platform when the washer slipped and the drawer came out and broke. I was going to surprise my wife with this new setup. She was out of town and was due back in 3 days. I didn't want her to see my mistake. I got on line and found AppliancePartsPros.com and I am glad I did. Their price was reasonable and fair. Fix F20 error codes and water level issues with this washer air chamber. Connects to the pressure switch hose to regulate water fill. Easy DIY repair.
After having a technician come to look at my washer, diagnosing the problem, and then not having the part to fix it (which would've taken another week or so after the washer was down at this point for a week and a half) I decided I could fix it myself. The problem ended up being the styrofoam piece that was meant to protect the hose from rubbing on anything didn't do it's job. The result ended up causing a pin hole size puncture in the hose which was allowing air to escape. That hose, along... Read more
Fix F-28, F-01, or power issues with this washer electronic control board. Manages wash cycles and functions. Moderate DIY repair, 30-45 minutes.
I googled my problem and someone had posted how to access the ccu board. I ordered the part from you. Surprisingly it arrived in under two days. ( I was impressed with the service). After removing 3 screws from the back of the machine the top easily came off. Facing the front the ccu is at the upper right side. Making sure that the machine was unplugged, I pried the tab locking in the ccu and slid it to the right. It came right out. Marking all the wiring I removed them and reattached to the... Read more

I took the front panel off which exposed the front two shock absorbers. But I could still only replace the front left shock. I could not get access to the one on the right. I then took the back panel off which gave me access to both back shocks and the other front shock. A simple twist and they were done. The longest part of the job was taking the back panel off.
