The Dispenser Inlet Hose is an OEM part for LG washing machines. This hose directs water from the water inlet valve to the detergent dispenser, ensuring that water mixes with the detergent before entering the drum for efficient washing. The hose is designed to withstand high water pressure and temperature fluctuations.
Over time, the dispenser inlet hose can become clogged, cracked, or worn out due to regular use. Causes of a bad inlet hose include mineral deposits or debris buildup, wear and tear, and exposure to high temperatures or pressure that can cause the hose to degrade.
Symptoms of a bad dispenser inlet hose include:
- Leaking water around the detergent dispenser area
- Reduced water flow into the dispenser
- Visible cracks or wear on the hose
- Incomplete dissolution of detergent during wash cycles
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.
