This is a motor harness intended for use with washing machines. The motor harness is a wiring component that's attached to the washing machine's motor and is used to conduct electricity between the motor and the PCB. Wear and tear, damage, or other issues can arise with the motor harness over time. When there is a malfunction or failure with this component, a replacement part is necessary to continue the appliance's efficient and safe use.Signs that something has gone wrong with the washing machine's motor harness include intermittent operations or a device that won't run at all. Replacing the motor harness is a relatively easy task. Disconnect the appliance from power and wear work gloves for safety. Ensure all connections between the motor and motor harness are secure before plugging the washing machine back into to avoid the motor's accidental activation. This motor harness is an authentic OEM replacement part. It is sold as an individual unit. The motor harness is made of high-quality, durable materials. It comes sourced directly from the manufacturer to ensure compatibility. The motor harness can be installed in various models of washing machines. It fits correctly into appliances produced by Kenmore and LG.
My front loader LG washing machine wasn’t working correctly. The clothes were either coming out unwashed or completely dripping. When turning the washer on it would start up like normal and the turn off a few minutes in. Initially it was not displaying an error code, this made it very difficult to diagnose. One of the kids started a load not knowing we are having issues and it started making a clunking cringing noise, when I went to investigate the EL code was up. A few YouTube videos later... Read more
This water inlet valve assembly regulates the flow of water into your washer during the fill and rinse cycle. Replacing a sticking or leaking valve restores proper filling and helps prevent drips when the washer is off. What it does:
Had to replace the water inlet valve for both hot and cold. After a quick chat with customer support that verified the correct parts for the FE error and placed my order the, the parts arrived quickly. The video and diagram helped with the repair, and now the machine is now running better than when we first got it. Thanks so much!! This is our second time ordering from AppliancePartsPros. Both times have now proven that this is the place to shop for all things appliances and repair support. Read more
This is the direct-drive rotor for the dishwasher wash motor. It pairs with the stator to spin the impeller and circulate wash water through the spray arms, helping restore proper spray pressure and quieter operation when the original rotor is worn.
Technician wanted $700. I was able to fix it myself for around $300 in about a half hour with the great and helpful customer service of appliancepartspros.com. Parts arrived on time. Nice to know there is a company that really cares and they know there stuff. Read more
This thermistor seal is the grommet that seals the temperature sensor where it passes through the washing machine's outer tub. Replacing a worn seal restores a watertight fit and helps prevent leaks that can damage surrounding components. What it does
After watching the video carefully and taking notes for step-by-step dismantling of the LG washer, I took it apart methodically placing each item on a table in the order removed. I was able to remove and replace the bearings with no problems following the tips and tricks. The spider did not seem to be in bad shape but since I had a new one, it seemed reasonable to replace it as well, but it was difficult to extract the old one from the drum. The bolts are assembled with weld glue, so it is a... Read more
This replacement bolt secures the drum spider within the washer tub assembly. Replacing worn or missing hardware helps keep the basket properly mounted to reduce wobble, vibration, and noise during spin.
Can't buy LG parts in Canada without getting an LG Tech to install. $1000 repair was too steep for me so went on websites and bought from Appliance Parts. Watch the video on Appliance Parts. Note - Joyce from Appliance Parts really helped in identifying the bolts that I needed. Read on and you will see why. Stripped down machine and identified the spider had failed along its three arms. Bearings were still in good condition. Managed to get three bolts off spider but remaining three had same... Read more

This hose clamp secures a washer hose to its fitting to maintain a tight, leak-resistant connection. Replace a weakened or damaged clamp to stop seepage at hose joints and keep the washer operating reliably.
I started by watching the video and it was very helpful. I would make one suggestion. On our model the weights on the tub sit very close to the front gasket. It is much easier to put the gasket on the tub before you put the weights on. Also, since the washer was tore apart, I replaced the hoses and seals and shocks since the machine is about 8 years old. The shocks made a huge difference. It spins like it did when it was new. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. Read more
This lifter assembly is the plastic baffle inside the drum that lifts and tumbles laundry as the drum turns. Replacing a cracked or missing lifter restores smooth tumbling and helps prevent fabric snags and noisy operation. What it does:
My first step after realizing the loud noise came from the main bearing of our LG washer was to order the necessary parts for the repair that A.P.P. recommends. Using Appliance PartsPros.com as my main source for parts and video I began by watching Mitch repair a washer similar to ours. Mitch made it look easy enough and being a repair person myself I thought ok no issue here. So, following A.P.P's suggestions I ordered all the parts and added the main door gasket and spider. Note: The... Read more
The Motor Stator Bolt is an OEM part for LG washing machines. This bolt secures the stator to the motor, ensuring the stability and proper functioning of the washing machine's motor assembly.
Causes of a bad motor stator bolt can include wear and tear over time, improper installation, or damage from over-tightening or impact. A compromised bolt can lead to instability in the motor, potentially affecting the washer's performance.
Symptoms of a bad motor stator bolt include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.
I originally thought the washer had a bad bearing, but once I got it disassembled it the spider arms were broken. This required the replacement of the tub assembly. While replacing the tub I replaced all of the water bellows. The parts came quickly, the live chat and videos were very helpful. This washer has to be completely disassembled to replace the drum, so mark all the screw locations, tag and bag everything and take lots of pics. It was a very rewarding project and hundreds of dollars... Read more
This washer clutch assembly engages the drive system to shift between wash and spin modes. Replacing a worn clutch restores smooth agitation and full-speed spin performance, reducing noise and leaving clothes properly wrung out at cycle end.
After doing a little research it seemed likely that our 7 year old LG's suspension system was getting old. We're getting very loud sounds on our spin cycle. A lot of start-up of spin and then stopping to rebalance occurring within the machine and intermittent unbalanced load error where the machine stopped the cycle completely to display an error. We replaced all three shock absorbers and the two suspension springs and our washer is back to what seems like better than new. Quieter with... Read more
This Screw (drawing) is a factory fastener used to secure appliance panels and components. Replacing a stripped, corroded, or missing screw restores a tight fit, reduces vibration, and helps keep assemblies correctly aligned.
The upper counter-balance weight mount design is a poor design to begin with. It started to rattle loose approximately 5yrs into the 8yrs that we've owned it. As it would start to loosen up (as evidenced by the loud banging noise exhibited during operation); I'd shut it down, pull the top off, remove the weight (it was almost always half rattled off at this point), wrap the mount lugs with friction tape (the plastic lugs were being worn down/chaffed by the balance weight), put the weight back...
