I looked up and ordered a new display panel. Since it was not showing anything I was hoping something on the board just failed. When I got the new part I plugged it in and it has been working fine since. Ordered the timer. Amazed in arrived in less that 24 hours. Reviewed the video with instructions twice and removed the old timer and replaced with the new. Working fine now. Only problem encountered was the washer used in the repair video was somewhat difference from ours. Easy to adapt to it and could identify the differences. Read more

Replaced control board. This project took about 45 minutes to complete. It helps if you have two people because at one point you need to squeeze 4 plastic clips. Also helps when switching wire from one board to the other. I am 71 years old and this was a very easy task. Read more

Purchased a new Control Board, as well as a new Thermister. Thermister was not absolutely necessary and could have been tested but it was simple enough to just replace during the control board replacement. Since it was a good time to replace the carbon air filter, I included that in the order too. Ordering the parts was very easy and completing the order the same. Ohm'ed out the heat elements and both were good. Outlet had 240 volts. I had reviewed several items on the internet. Everything pointed to the control board. Ordered the part on a Sunday night using standard shipping and received it Tuesday. Replaced and tested. Over is working again. Read more

Normally I would do a better job of investigating my problem with what others have experienced and then proceed with the cheapest fix first. This time though I just knew it was the timer. I ordered the correct part, installed it, plugged in the cord, turned on the washer and still no drain and no spin. What a defeated feeling. So I went back to the web site.
