Hello, You can force a cycle by shorting the 120Vac from terminals "T" and "H" together. The door switch may need to be closed and the flap for the optics needs to be pressed in where the optics are not blocked. After about 2 minutes, the ice maker should energize the water valve for about 7 seconds. If you attach your test meter leads to the water valve connection for this you can see the voltage reading if the valve is energized. You can also user the shortcut if you want. This being: remove the electrical connectors from the dual water valve and put the one for the water dispense on the ice maker water valve. Now if you dispense water and the valve is working, the ice maker will fill until you let go of the dispense paddle.

Phil for Model Number 106.57799701

Having trouble with ice maker. Sensor tests check out fine. No water through two harvest tests. Water out dispenser works fine. I'm thinking possible freezing in water line to ice maker. Questions. Could this type valve work for water dispensing and not for ice maker? Is water line freeze up common for this fridge. I believe I read a test for switching connection between the two. Which is which between and blue and white connections. Thanks for your help!

Hello Phil. Yes, if the water valve WPW10159839 is bad, it can cause the unit to not dispense water to the icemaker and send water to the dispenser. Hope this helps.

John for Model Number KSRS25RSMK01

Icemaker not working. Changed water valve and still no ice. Ice was built up in fill line and trough on bearing assembly. Removed ice and jumpered thermostat to start harvest cycle. Water did come out near end of cycle like it was supposed to one time with the new valve. Put the old valve on again thinking supply line and trough may have just been froze up. Never could get ice maker to start harvest cycle again. Tested voltage across thermostat and only had 35.5volts. Unpluged icemaker power supply and tested voltage on plug at black and white wires and only had 35.5 volts there also. I am not familiar with anything that has to reset before the icemaker can start harvest cycle when thermostat is jumpered. Why do I only have 35.5 volts coming to the icemaker?

John, Based on your post information, and the voltage information, You need to test, and most likely will need to replace the I/R sensor board kit W11629974 here's a quick test. Open the freezer door and observe the "led" light on the right side of the opening, If the led pulses twice, press in on the emitter cover on the left side of the opening, if the light continues to pulse, or there is no light, you hve a bad I/R system and will need to replace the board kit. Thanks and Good Luck

Viktor for Model Number AP4327602?

I’m having an issue with front door water valve after replacing water filter "#4396710 PUR" on my Kenmore Elite Model: 106.56703500 (2006) Water is no longer coming through the refrigerator’s front door water valve. I can hear the motor/pump noise but water is not being pumped. Ice make is working fine though. It seems as the part AP4327602 is the valve that controls it. However, before spending $120 I would like to dbl check and confirm that it's what it is. If so, I'll need an instruction as well as recommendation on how to connect water pipes to this device for the reasons that it's not easy to connect them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Devender. If you removed the filter, you will need to run about 2 gallons of water through the dispenser to remove the air from the water lines. If it continues, you will need to replace the water valve WPW10159839. Hope this helps.

Hello Barbara. If the icemaker is working properly and sending power to the water valve when cycling, you will need to replace the water valve WPW10159839. For the door, you will need to order a new cam kit 4318165. It is best to change both door cams in the repair. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
