Diagnosed the problem by seeing the lower fan was not turning. Didn't have any squeaks or sounds as a warning sign... It just stopped working. Went to AppliancePartsPros.com typed in my make & model number (Samsung NE58F9710WS). After researching the problem, I ordered a new cooling fan. My "fix-it" guy winds up in the ICU for 3 weeks! So...YouTube here I come. It appeared pretty simple in video form, except the video wasn't of my stove. All in all, what looked like no more than a 6 screw removal, turned into tearing 1/2 the stove apart. Still, only took about 2 hours start to finish. Best lesson learned, turn off the energy efficiency mode!!! Read more

Ordered the new fan (blower) from AppliancePartsPros. It arrived 3 days later. Pulled the wall oven out of the wall, removed the sheet metal back and removed the noisy fan. Installed the new fan, reinstalled the sheet metal back, shoved it back into it's place, turned the power back on and viola!, much quieter. Read more

I used a set of ring pliers to remove the old retaining ring, then spread the plastic ribs around the fan motor shaft with a small flat bladed screwdriver to ease removal of the old fan blade. I reversed the process to replace the blade, gently tapping a socket from my socket wrench set placed over the motor shaft and ribs with a small rubber mallet. The ordeal began after wiping around burner knobs with a moist paper towel with cleaner and wrapping the towel around the burner knob shaft to clean around it. Changed out the Fan. Oven turns all heaters on to quickly get to temperature - the sensor probe is next to the broil heater - it quickly senses the broil element heat and claims a false oven temperature and "reaches" set temperature at the sensor probe. Changing the fan causes the air to circulate during this time - so the entire oven heats up. The Fan is supposed run in Bake mode during heat up. Took two times to get ribbon cable inserted and aligned correctly. display functioned properly, but blower still not turning. replaced upper blower. everything working now. Read more
