Burner in glass top range control only has off or full on modes Edward A. • Brookfield , WI • August 11, 2015
Based on internet search and data found on APPLIANCE PARTS PRO, I deduced that the "infinite control " module was most likely bad. Replaced it and all is good.
Toughest part was remembering how to disengage cooktop from down draft blower and then pulling the cook top up in within it's opening. Once pulled up, I put short 2x4's across the opening corners to support the cooktop safely while I worked on it. Next issue was figuring out exactly which screws held the glass top in place. As...

Range dual surface unit would only go on in "high" setting not on any other settingsje Kenneth C. • Tolland , CT • July 28, 2015
Replace dual infinity switch. The only difficulty is the terminal labels on the new switch did not match at all with the terminal labels on the original switch. The enclosed instructions were NOT helpful. But I contacted your representative, Johnny, and he was most helpful and patient. From my model number he located very specific and detailed instructions for how to wire the new switch. The rest of the job was easy. Your representative was outstanding. Thanks.

Hinges were weak Don M. • Colchester , VT • December 31, 2016
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair.

Cook top jennair one control has a short cut because of water Pierre C. • Blacksburg , VA • March 31, 2015
I looked on the web firs and saw that it might be a common problem and found quickly the culprit. The switch that control the element has a short cut. I learned from the web that it cost about $50 to replace the switch so I order it and got it quickly. The fun part is to access this part! You have to disconnect the cook top (electricity and vent) Then you have to remove the heavy top and be careful not to break it. From there you put it upside down and remove the part by observing attentively...

Installed replacement burner. Not a one-to-one fit where the wiring is concerned but everything needed to effect the change out was provided with the part.
It is important to make notes of what was connected to what on the old one and to compare that to the new one. I used a download of the wiring diagram to good effect because it has the color code for the wiring on it. I am an engineer and can read such things which the average DIY'r might not be able to do so the notes will help.

This blower wheel mounts on the drive motor and pushes air through the dryer drum and out the exhaust. Replacing a worn wheel restores proper airflow for consistent drying and helps prevent overheating and nuisance shutdowns. What it does:
- Moves air across the heater, through the drum, and out the vent to remove moisture
- Helps maintain proper airflow and temperature inside the dryer
- Common failure symptoms: reduced or no airflow at the exterior vent, longer dry times, unusual scraping/thumping or vibration from the blower area, or overheating/shutoff
- Cracked fins or a stripped hub can cause the wheel to slip on the motor shaft
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off gas supply before servicing
- Access the blower housing per your model's service instructions; remove the retaining hardware and replace the wheel in the same orientation
- Clean lint from the blower housing and vent path; inspect the motor shaft and blower seal for wear
- Reassemble and verify the wheel spins freely without rubbing; check airflow at the exterior vent

Stove downdraft stopped working Robert B. • Gaithersburg , MD • March 08, 2016
I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business.
