Replaces the hinge that operates the center flap on French door refrigerators. Needed when the plastic hinge clip is cracked, broken, or detached from the spring mechanism.
I loosened middle hinge by the 2 screws which holds a power cord that clips together, then slid the hinge flap upward to release from the door. My bottom clip hinge was broken away from spring and the only way to attach a new hinge clip was to carefully separate the hinge flap. This can be done by squeezing the flap to see where the separation seams are. Small narrow screwdrivers along with a spatula will do without damaging the plastic. This allowed for acess to the spring which connects to a... Read more

Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. Ice maker stopped working or won't eject cubes? This ice maker assembly restores automatic ice production. Easy DIY install—just 2 screws and 1 harness.
After searching for information, the best guess was a defrost problem, so I first fully defrosted and reset the ice maker (this is the recommendation of Samsung and others on the net). Replacement rear caster wheel for refrigerators. Restores mobility when original wheel is broken, cracked, or damaged. Mounts to bottom rear of unit.
I have a large Samsung 4 door refrigerator. One of the rear wheels broke. To replace it, you need the wheel and the shaft. To lift the refrigerator for the repair, I had my wife stand in front of it with her foot on a board that was wedged against the front wheels. I then pushed the refrigerator up from behind and slid a 3/4" piece of plywood underneath the bottom with my foot. This gives you enough space to do the repair. After removing the back cover, it's best just to knock out the broken... Read more

In order it SHOULD be done: Pried off two white caps covering the screws that attach the flap to the left door, then removed screws. Lifted flap up to remove from door and disconnected cable. Used a thin blade to pry out the inner cover of the flap, then carefully pried out the insulation piece inside. Loosened the screw holding the center cap from the inside and removed cap. Worked the cable out of the hinge piece so it could be removed and cable pulled through case. Pried upper and lower caps... Read more
Plastic grommet that cushions the hinge pin on refrigerator doors. Replace if cracked, worn, missing, or causing door alignment issues.
